Central Coast Indigenous Resource Alliance – an organization based on the membership of the three WKNTC Member Nations as well the Heiltsuk. It formed in March 2010, with a declaration to, “Foster a strong working relationship with our four Nations and through a common voice ensure our ecosystems return to a healthy balance, while respecting our cultures, advancing our peoples’ well-being, and enhancing our economies.”
Coastal First Nations/Great Bear Initiative – an alliance of many of the First Nations on British Columbia’s North and Central Coast and Haida Gwaii including the WKNTC member Nations as well as Heiltsuk, Gitga’at, Metlakatla, Old Massett, Skidegate, and Council of the Haida Nation. It has played a lead role developing land use plans, marine use plans and supporting sustainable resource activities.
First Voices – a group of web-based tools and services designed to support Aboriginal people engaged in language archiving, language teaching & culture revitalization. The Nuxalk currently have developed a range of resources within First Voices and are online to assist in renewal for their language.
